After School Academic Enrichment Schedule

October 22 - November 9; February 4-22, 2008; April 21-9, 2008

The purpose of the After School Academic Enrichment Program is to close gaps that may exist for children reading and mathematics. Students will be offered the opportunity to receive extended small group and one-to-one instruction in the areas of mathematics, reading/reading in the content areas, writing (4&7) and technology (8th). Classes will be offered three days per week from 3:45 - 5:00 PM.

Transportation will be provided for students in need. To assist with reducing transportation cost, parents who have transportation are encouraged to pick up children from the after school program.

Student participation will be based on teacher and parent recommendation. To measure the success of the program based on academic growth, students are encouraged to attend all three sessions and all nine classes of each session.

• Dress Policy

We have formalized a dress policy for Carter Community School. Parents are to kindly print it out, sign it and have their child deliver it to the office. Alternatively, parents may call at the Principal's office to sign a hard copy. Access the dress code policy by clicking here. You may right-click on the link and save a local copy if you so wish.
